A white and normal Sumatran tiger. White tigers are extremely rare as they generally can’t survive for very long in the wild — it is harder for them to stalk and prey on their food if they can be seen from far away.

These two tigers are highly protected and taken care of at a wild life refuge in Java, Indonesia.

My Portfolio

Real deer. This ain’t no diorama.

This work deals with human habitation impinging on wild animal ranges; a drama playing out in the suburbs throughout North America.

This image is special to me for many reasons, among them is the fact it’s the first print I sold directly through my own online gallery.

DESCRIPTION: A suburban BC image from the URBANITIES project.

EQUIPMENT: Pentax 645N. Pentax-FA 75mm f2.8 lens @ f2.8, 1/45s. Fuji Velvia 100 E6 slide film (shot at ISO 100). Scanned on CanoScan 8800f scanner using TWAIN driver.
